The Diawl Bach nymph is an excellent alround trout nymph fly. Though it does not specifically represent any particular insect, it simply catches thousands of trout. It can be fished from April right through to November. Often fished ina team of 3 or 4 on a cast, and is paticularly good for fishing the washing line method( a buoyant trout fly on the point-often a booby, or Fab). The diawl bach is used by many of the countries top competition anglers.
