Popper Fry White Mink CODE PF3
An awesome pattern, that looks great when wet. This fly is at its best from October onwards, once the trout switch their attention to the fry. Best fished along the edges of weedbeds, or any other feature in the water that may harbour the fry. When the fly hits the water, a short sharp rip, so it bounces across the surface is often enough to draw any trout it. The fish will also take these off the surface static, as the mink tails swishhes in the water as its suspended in the surface !
