Reservoir Guided Days by England International angler, Craig Barr

Craig is no stranger to large reservoir fishing. He has grown up on the banks of Rutland Water, and has fished the lake for over 40 years . It is often said you cannot beat local knowledge. Well, Craig has this in abundance, having fished the lake in all the weather conditions imaginable.

At the top of his sport, Craig is a known as a well accustomed competition angler, and has captained the former top competition team, The Seighford Sharks, whom became the first team ever to win  the UK’S two major fly fishing international team finals in the same year. As well as appearing on Sky’s TV’s popular Tight Lines fishing  programme several times, and the BBC's  "One Show", Craig was also a contributor to the former UK’S leading game angling magazine, Trout Fisherman. Craig also has 7 England caps to his name, representing his country at Loch Style fly fishing, as well as managing the England Youth Fly Fishing team for 9 years. 

With this combined knowledge of experience and ability, Craig offers all the credentials to any angler wanting to learn the best ways to approach larger waters, and the methods of angling needed to catch the fish.

If you are a beginner, or an intermediate angler simply keen to know more, or a more experienced angler wanting to get better, Craig will certainly help to get you there.

Guided Fly Fishing Days - Our days cover, Rutland Water, Grafham Water, Pitsford Reservoir, and Draycote Water

Full day boat fishing - 8.45am – 6.00pm £295.00 1 person, or £390.00 for two people. . This includes boat hire and Catch & Release tickets (1 Fish per person is permitted) Flies too. If the fishing is good right up to 6.00pm, I am known to carry on, at no extra cost.
