The Crippled Midge fly is hugely popular. It is a dry fly that can be fished from spring, right through to October. It is designed to sit in the surface film supported by its parachute hackle. Perfect fly to use when the fish are high in the water, and sipping through the surface. Works particularly well, when buzzer shucks are sitting in the surface film.
