THE ORANGE APPS WORM - If you havent fished these before, you simply must give them a go! This worm fly collection was collated by one of the countries top worm fly anglers.
This range of worms was the brain storm of worm fishing expert Jim Tuck. Jim and other well known experts in this field, namingly Fred Bainbridge and Pete Appleby, are the Northern Worm fishing experts. Sometimes known as the Northern Worms, these flies are incredibly good and are accountable for many competition wins on smaller waters. Articles in both Trout Fisherman and Total Flyfisher magazines have described how lethal this invention has been. They can be fished using any line, and boat or bank fishing makes no difference. Try fishing two on one cast, but we advise strong tippet !!
