This pattern has been around for years, a testament to it's fish catching consistency. Works superbly fished as a single fly. Great along weeded edges, when fish follow the weed lines for corixa, snails, shrimp & fry. All of our shuttlecock flies are tied with the correct amount, and length cdc posts, so the flies sits visibly in the surface film. Top tip - As this type of fly sits under the surface, and all you see is the cdc post at a distance, should you see any fish activity around the fly, STRIKE, or you may miss it !!
